The SPANISH NATIONAL FOOTBALL U-19 TEAM|PRE - EUROPEAN FOOTBALL U-19 QUALIFIERS|U-19 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS in Rumania.

The SPANISH NATIONAL FOOTBALL U-19 TEAM got off to a great start in the Pre-Euro qualifiers with a 2 - 1 victory over SWITZERLAND. Spain has also Montenegro & England in their Group with the Top placed nation being the only team that goes into the upcoming U-19 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS in Rumania.

The young Spaniards played a good match with two goals coming from JUANMI & ISCO, & the only goal for the Swiss via an own goal from Spaniard & defender AMAT (details below).

Spain plays Montenegro next Thursday.
Spain 2: Edgar Badía; Albert Blázquez (Carvajal, m.88), Jordi Amat, Sergi Gómez, Marc Muniesa, Koke, Rubén Pardo (Isco, M.68), Sergi Roberto, Juanmi, Pablo Sarabia (Gerard Delofeu, m.81) & Álvaro Morata.


Switzerland 1: Siegrist; Goncalves, Decarli, Veseli, Benito, Nimeley (Josip Drmic, m.46), Grether (Kamber, m.72), Facchinetti, Buff, Rodríguez & Seferovic.


Goals: 1-0, m.3: Juanmi. 2-0, m.74: Isco. 2-1, m.77: Jordi Amat, own goal.
