Grizzlies make history by sinking Spurs
The Memphis Grizzlies booked their place in the NBA Western Conference semi-finals as a 99-91 win over San Antonio Spurs sealed a 4-2 series win.
The Grizzlies, who had lost all 12 of their previous postseason games prior to this series, were indebted to 16 fourth-quarter points from Zach Randolph in an overall haul of 31.They became just the second eighth-seeded side to upset a top seed since the first round changed to the best-of-seven format in 2003, and will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the semis.
Marc Gasol added 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Grizzlies while Tony Parker top-scored for the Spurs with 23.
