On Sunday June 5 at 7:30 pm, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will host the second edition of the solidarity football match "Heart Classic Match 2011. All for Africa". This time, the meeting was held between the relevant players in the recent history of Real Madrid and Bayern München; Zidane, Figo, Suker, Mijatovic, Morientes, Helguera, Butragueño, Fernando Redondo, Rummenigge, Breitner, Makaay, Brehme, Augenthaler, Sagnol... who will be joined by many more stars of these two great teams in football history.
The club is heavily involved in solidarity activities in Africa, so Real Madrid will finish the season in Angola, with the celebration of a friendly match to be played the 25th day of this month, against the national selection of this country, which is ranked 108th in the FIFA ranking. It is the twenty-fifth time that the white team plays on African soil. The last trip was to Cairo, where Zidane made his debut as Real Madrid's new signing.
Real Madrid will play in three months on three continents, complying with its philosophy of universal club. To the African match of Angola must be added the concentration in the United States from July 10, and the tour of China in early August. The pre-season of the team will also include games in Europe. An emissary of the white club will travel to Luanda next week to set the details of the meeting.

The Blues have been galvanised after expensive striker Fernando Torres broke his much-publicised scoring duck in the 3-0 win over West Ham last weekend, their fourth consecutive victory.
While snatching the title from United still seems unlikely - although they still have to play the leaders at Old Trafford - boss Carlo Ancelotti is enthused and hinted he may pair Torres and Didier Drogba up front.
"When you have very good players, you have to try to put them together," he said.
"Maybe they can sacrifice something of their ability, of their skills, but they can play together. If you are able to do this, I think it is good for the team, to get good results."
Spurs have plenty to play for as well as they can afford nothing less than victory if they are to return to the Champions League.
Harry Redknapp's side are four points behind fourth-place Manchester City, who occupy the last Champions League qualification place, and who play bottom-placed West Ham on Sunday.
"If we lose to Chelsea and City win their next two games it will be virtually impossible (to finish fourth)," Spurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone said.
"We don't want to be hanging on for fifth position. We have to look up and we want to finish where we were last season."
At the other end of the table, just five points separate the bottom five clubs.
West Ham are joined by Wolves and Wigan in the bottom three, with Blackpool teetering just above them.
Wolves failed to haul themselves out of the drop zone after they were hammered 3-0 at Stoke in midweek and face another tough task with a Midlands derby at Birmingham this weekend.
Wigan are behind Blackpool on goal difference only and host Everton while the Tangerines are also on their own soil when they play Stoke.
Blackburn will look to arrest their 10-game winless run, that has left them just a point above the relegation places, when they host Bolton.
Fulham boss Mark Hughes has targeted a top-10 finish after their 3-0 win over Bolton in midweek and they travel to Sunderland while West Brom are at home to Aston Villa in another Midlands derby.

Evra is wary of a 'wounded' Arsenal
Manchester United's Patrice Evra is wary of a 'wounded' Arsenal when both sides meet at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The Gunners' Barclays Premier League ambitions were virtually snuffed out at Bolton last weekend when a last-gasp Tamir Cohen winner left them nine points adrift of United with four games to play.
The defeat has led to a week of scrutiny for boss Arsene Wenger and his richly talented yet, for a sixth consecutive season, trophyless squad.
Evra believes the bad press will ensure their hosts come out firing on Sunday, when victory for United would take them to the brink of a record 19th league title.
"You have to fear the wounded animal," the France full-back said. "It is all or nothing for Arsenal so that is a danger.
"They will want to show they can still win the title."
"We have a good record at Arsenal but statistics can change so quickly.
"Our record at the Emirates will hurt them and they will want to do something about it."
By the time United kick off on Sunday, closest challengers Chelsea could have closed the gap behind them to three points as they host Tottenham in the late game on Saturday.
The Blues have been galvanised after expensive striker Fernando Torres broke his much-publicised scoring duck in the 3-0 win over West Ham last weekend, their fourth consecutive victory.

Andy Carroll could make a first appearance against his former club Newcastle on Sunday after missing last weekend's 5-0 win over Birmingham with a knee complaint.
Carroll moved from his hometown club in January for a club record £35million but injury has undermined his impact at Anfield since.

Premier League : Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Manchester United.
Sir Alex Ferguson has virtually ruled out any chance of Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Manchester United. However, life in Spain so far has not turned out as Ronaldo would have hoped.
For the second season running Real are destined to finish runners-up to Barcelona in La Liga whilst Wednesday's controversial 2-0 defeat to their fiercest rivals at the Bernabeu means, almost certainly, it will be the Catalans who make it through to next month's Champions League final at Wembley.
As United have coped with Ronaldo's departure rather better and are well placed to regain the Premier League, in addition to facing Barcelona on May 28, there has been some talk the former world player of the year would be interested in a return to Old Trafford.
But Ferguson, who was in Madrid to watch Wednesday's stormy confrontation, does not see how that could happen.
"It would be very difficult," said Ferguson, when asked whether Ronaldo could come back.
"He had a great time here but he is at a great club now too."
Few connected with United have anything but good words to say about Ronaldo, who scored 118 goals in 292 appearances for the Red Devils, helping them to three championships on the trot and the 2008 Champions League.
Ferguson continues to think of him as the best player in the world, despite the competing claims of Lionel Messi, and wasted little time seeking Ronaldo out on Wednesday to commiserate at Real's demise.
"I spoke to him after the game," said the United chief.
"He had a great time here, we got six years out of him. We got him as a kid and he went to Madrid a man.
"He is enjoying being there and though he might not have been at his best on Wednesday, he is still a great player."
In fact, it could be argued Real's over-reliance on Ronaldo is one of their weaknesses.
As a team, they are clearly inferior to Barcelona and Ferguson accepts the only way to get the best from each individual is through the unit as a whole.
"Teams always win the big competitions," he said.
"Individuals can make a difference, as Ronaldo did many times for us, but if you look at the work-rate of our team collectively on Tuesday night that is what we try to aim for.
"If we achieve anything it will be the collective that does it."
United also try and aim for the entertaining brand of football they produced against Schalke on Tuesday, for which Barcelona are also noted.
However, no-one aspires to the kind of spectacle Barca were part of on Wednesday.
Aside from Messi's brilliant second goal, the game will be remembered for its spiteful edge, persistent play-acting and Jose Mourinho's outrageous comments at the end.
Ferguson is wisely staying out of the argument, although it did cross his mind on the night how little football was actually being played.
"This is not the time to discuss it because there is so much in the post-match analysis, with the recriminations on both sides," he said.
"We should let the dust settle and concentrate on reaching the final.
"The only thing I would say is that there could have been only one hour's play because the game stopped so much.
"You want to go to a game and see an hour and a half.

Manchester City have reportedly turned down a £30million bid from Inter Milan
Inter's £30million Tevez bid rejected
Manchester City have reportedly turned down a £30million bid from Inter Milan for skipper Carlos Tevez.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the club's president Massimo Moratti had his offer turned down by City, who deemed the transfer fee as 'insufficient.'Inter have been watching Tevez with a keen eye this season, following reports that the Argentinean is unhappy in Manchester.
Tevez requested a transfer from City in December but was talked into staying by the club's billionaire owners.
Tevez is City's leading scorer with 22 goals in all competitions, although he faces a fight to be fit for the club's FA Cup Final against Stoke next month. He has missed City's last two games with a hamstring injury.

Real Madrid: Iker Casillas, Alvaro Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Raul Albiol, Marcelo, Pepe, Lassana Diarra, Xabi Alonso, Mesut Ozil, Angel Di Maria, Cristiano Ronaldo
Barcelona: Victor Valdes, Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Javier Mascherano, Carles Puyol, Sergio Busquets, Xavi, Seydou Keita, Pedro Rodriguez, Lionel Messi, David Villa
We take a look at the match-ups that could decide the game.
Confidence is soaring in the Madrid camp having last week ended a near three-year trophy drought by beating Barca to win the Copa del Rey, and then at the weekend they showed their formidable strength in depth when a supposed second-string side thumped third-placed Valencia 6-3 at the Mestalla - becoming the first away side ever to score six times at Valencia in the league.
Only two of Madrid's starting line-up from the cup final began that match, and with an almost full squad available for Wednesday's match - Ricardo Carvalho is suspended and Sami Khedira injured - Jose Mourinho has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal as he looks to move a step closer to becoming the first coach to conquer Europe with three different clubs.
It is a different story for Barca boss Pep Guardiola, who has something of defensive crisis with left-backs Eric Abidal, Maxwell and Adriano all definitely missing, while Carles Puyol and Gabriel Milito are both battling to recover from injuries, although they have both been included in a 20-man squad.
With their injury problems and Madrid´s good form in mind, Guardiola suggested at the weekend that Mourinho´s men were favourites ahead of Wednesday's game, but Ramos has played down that tag.
"We don't regard ourselves as favourites because I don´t think it serves for anything. If anything has led to success it's been simplicity, humility and hard work. And those are the values we must uphold," he said on his club's website.
"Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have great players and nobody can predict what will happen. We all know the responsibility we have and what it takes to defend these colours and we know we have to give it everything."
Guardiola also made sweeping changes for his side's league clash with Osasuna on Saturday, and although the Catalan giants were nowhere near as impressive as Madrid were against Valencia, their 2-0 home win over Osasuna moved them a step closer to the Primera Division title, boasting an eight-point lead over Madrid with only five games remaining.
Further good news for Barca came with David Villa ending his 11-game goalless streak for the club with the opener in that match, while substitute Lionel Messi wrapped up the win late on with his 50th competitive club goal of an incredible season - a new record for Spanish football.
Barca, who are also without striker Bojan Krkic through injury, may not be at full strength heading into the third of four 'Clasicos' with Madrid in the space of 18 days, but midfielder Andres Iniesta is still in optimistic mood.
"We would all have settled for being where we are in the league, being in the Champions League semi finals and playing the Copa del Rey final," said Iniesta, who is available for Barca having escaped an extra one-game ban by UEFA after being cleared of allegedly getting deliberately booked in the quarter-final first leg against Shakhtar Donetsk.
"We have to go out with what we've got. We have to find strength where there is none. The players are fine, and we are focused on what we have ahead of us. And what we have ahead of us is something very nice indeed to focus on."
The Spain international, whose last-minute goal earned Barca a semi-final win against Chelsea two years ago before the Catalan club went on to beat Manchester United in the final, added on his club´s website: "It will be tough and difficult, but we have a positive attitude and are very excited to know that we are very close to being in another final.
"It would be a dream to play at Wembley. I don't mind if I don't score, or even play, as long as we are in that final."
Madrid, looking for a record 10th European cup crown after progressing past the last 16 for the first time in seven years, have beaten Barca twice before in the semi-finals of this competition, and on both occasions - in 1960 and 2002 - went on to lift the trophy.
However, Barca have had the better of the recent meetings between the two Spanish superpowers, at least up until last week. They had won five successive ´Clasicos´ - one short of equalling the record of consecutive wins - before being held 1-1 by 10-man Madrid in the league 10 days ago and then losing 1-0 after extra-time in the cup final.

Alex Ferguson has admitted he still gets envious when he compares Manchester United's
Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted he still gets envious when he compares Manchester United's European record to that of the continent's other heavyweights.
United head into their 12th semi-final when they tackle Schalke in the Veltins-Arena on Tuesday.Yet that figure has yielded a relatively modest return of four finals, all of which had been won until they were ambushed by a brilliant Barcelona outfit in Rome two seasons ago.
It leaves United trailing in 10th spot on final appearances alone, and joint seventh in terms of tournament wins.
And Ferguson is not comfortable with it.
"This is where we should be," he said.
"The expectation has always been high with regard to the European scene and you do get envious of other clubs' great record in Europe.
"We are trying to gain parity with that. You look at Real Madrid [nine wins-three runners-up], AC Milan [7-4], Bayern Munich [4-4], Ajax [4-2] and Liverpool [5-2].
"We really need to progress quickly to get to that level and the present group have enough experience in Europe now."
It leaves Ferguson with an unusual nervousness, which in itself emphasises how important this competition is to him.
"You always get apprehensive at this stage of the competition," he said.
"Semi-finals are never easy.
"We had the same situation in 1999 when we played our semi-final against Juventus.
"There was an apprehension in our first game at home that we released in the second leg.
"When we played Barcelona in the first leg [three years ago] we got the result we wanted. But the last 20 minutes of the second leg were absolute agony."
United emerged victorious on that occasion, clinging on to a single Paul Scholes strike at the end as Lionel Messi threatened to rip a final place from their grasp.
It has gone down as one of the great Old Trafford nights.
However, against German opposition, there have been quite a few miserable ones too.
That stunning triumph over Bayern Munich at the Nou Camp has rather obscured the fact United have not beaten German opposition in a two-legged game during Ferguson's time at the club.
Bayern alone are responsible for two of the four defeats, including last season's away goals triumph in the quarter-finals.
It is losses to Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen at this same last-four stage in 1997 and 2002 that caused real heartbreak though, considering United were heavy favourites on both occasions, as they are now.
"There is no way Manchester United will be led into believing this is going to be easy," said Ferguson.
"Schalke have beaten every team at home in the Champions League this season, including Valencia and Inter Milan. If you just take that in isolation, it is good form.
"This is going to be a difficult game and we will treat it that way."
As usual, determining the make-up of Ferguson's starting line-up is not easy.
Park Ji-sung for instance is virtually certain to start but could occupy a spot in a three-man central midfield or on either of the flanks.
Similarly Wayne Rooney might be pushed out wide, if Ferguson selects in-form Javier Hernandez, he could be selected as a lone striker, as he was against Bayern 12 months ago, or even in midfield, where he has been pretty effective in the last couple of games.
It is a fair bet he will have a better time of it than he did on his last visit though, made infamous by the Cristiano Ronaldo wink that accompanied Rooney's red card for stamping on Ricardo Carvalho as England bowed out of the World Cup to Portugal in 2006.
"You have to put bad moments behind you. That is normal for any footballer," said Ferguson, who claimed not to be aware such an important moment for his club took place in the ground where he was giving his thoughts.
"But good players create their own platforms in the sense of the importance of their performance.
"Wayne, more than anyone, realises that performances are the thing that he will always be judged on.
"There is an expectation on the boy. He has stepped up to the mark for that - and proved himself entirely. No-one else."

Football : Blackburn 0-1 Manchester City
Edin Dzeko grabbed the winner for Manchester City with his first goal at the 10th attempt in the Barclays Premier League. In the process the Bosnian, a £27million buy from Wolfsburg in January, propelled Roberto Mancini's side towards a top four finish and a place in the UEFA Champions League.
Not only that Dzeko made sure Blackburn continue to worry about relegation after their 10th league match without a victory.
After beating Manchester United and securing a place in the FA Cup final it was no surprise City started brightly.
However, they failed to make their possession pay in the first half especially and Blackburn began to grow in confidence.
But in all came right for Mancini in the end and they are now four points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham.
City almost took the lead in the third minute with a sweeping move that unlocked the home side. Pablo Zabaleta delivered the ball from the right and Gareth Barry touched it to David Silva.
The Spanish forward connected perfectly only to see his shot hit the post and come back out.
Blackburn again found themselves on the back foot four minutes later when City won a free-kick 25 yards out but Mario Balotelli's effort was gathered cleanly by goalkeeper Paul Robinson.
The visitors kept up the pressure and Zabaleta saw his cross cleared by Phil Jones in the 17th minute.
From the resulting corner Barry's header was cleared off the line by Michel Salgado.
Play switched down the other end and Jason Roberts had a claim for a penalty dismissed by referee Andre Marriner following a challenge by Vincent Kompany.
Then Phil Jones showed some invention to go on a galloping run and link up with Martin Olsson before being crowded out.
City responded and Balotelli carved out an opening for himself in the 39th minute only to see his effort blocked.
The momentum was with Blackburn and Chris Samba saw his towering header go narrowly wide of the post a minute later after being set up by Salgado.
City were being stretched and Roberts was allowed room to deliver the ball into the area but Zabaleta made the clearance.
City started the second half like they did the first and Robinson took no chances and pushed over a close-range header from Yaya Toure following a cross from Silva.
However, Blackburn almost took the lead in the 50th minute following a swift counter attack.
Brett Emerton picked out Roberts and his header appeared to be going wide only for Olsson to get on the end of it and send a shot into the side netting.
But it was City who almost edged in front in the 68th minute when Silva carved out an opening only to find the wrong side of the post with his curling effort.
Adam Johnson was replaced by Dzeko in the 72nd minute and the he responded three minutes later with the decisive goal.
Silva supplied the cross and Phil Jones only succeeded in sending his clearance straight to Dzeko, who smashed it home without hesitation.
Blackburn, however, should have drawn level in the 87th minute but Phil Jones headed over from close range and then Olsson's effort was blocked by Joe Hart in stoppage time.
These are worrying times for the home side who remain one point outside the bottom three with four matches to go.

Football : Real Madrid, Spanish Cup, 2011,Winners...
Real Madrid have finally won their first trophy since 2008. Unsurprisingly, it has coincided with the arrival of one man.
The Special One. Jose Mourinho. Everything he touches seems to turn to gold.
Wednesday evening's Copa del Rey victory over Barcelona means Mourinho has now won a major trophy in every country he has managed in.
Yet like most top class managers, Mourinho was not always used to being surrounded by medals and prizes. It seems the key to succeeding in management is to have a firm education at a lesser club, before moving on the bigger things.
Mourinho's coaching career started off at Benfica, and while he did enjoy a reasonably successful spell there, his time was cut short with the installation of new club president Manuel Vilarinho, who wanted to bring back ex-player Toni to be his new coach.
Mourinho used an impressive 3-0 win over Sporting as an opportunity to request for a contract extension, and when Vilarinho refused, the coach had made his mind up. Mourinho tendered his resignation immediately.
It did not take long for a man of Mourinho's talents to find employment elsewhere. Uniao de Leiria appointed him in April 2001, and the following season he guided the club to their highest-ever league finish of fifth place.
Porto
A year later, Porto came knocking with an offer Mourinho could not refuse.
Having identified a core of existing players that would form the backbone of his team, including the likes of Vitor Baia, Ricardo Carvalho, Costinha and Deco, Mourinho then went about addressing areas he felt could do with improvement.
Nuno Valente and Derlei were both poached from old club Leiria, Paulo Ferreira was brought in from Vitoria de Setubal, and Edgar Jankauskas and Maniche both arrived on a free from Benfica.
It did not take long for his team to make an impact.
Having already claimed the Portuguese league and cup double, Mourinho completed a treble in his first season at the Estadio Dragao, claiming the UEFA Cup after a thrilling 3-2 extra time win over Celtic.
If you thought that was impressive for a Portuguese club, think again.
The following year, Mourinho won a second successive Portuguese Liga title.
However, it was in the UEFA Champions League that Mourinho truly exhibited his managerial powers in. In a tournament littered with Europe's biggest club sides, the Special One brought his unheralded team all the way to the final, knocking out Manchester United, Lyon and Deportivo La Coruna in the process.
On May 26, 2004, Mourinho claimed European football's biggest prize when Porto comprehensively beat Monaco 3-0, with goals coming from Carlos Alberto, Deco, and Dmitri Alenichev.
Chelsea
Having proven his credentials at the highest level, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich knew he had found the man that could bring him his ultimate goal: the Champions League.
Abramovich lured him to Stamford Bridge and threw at him an unlimited war chest with a single condition: bring success to Chelsea at all costs.
Mourinho raided Porto for Carvalho and Ferreira at a combined £32million, Didier Drogba and Michael Essien arrived from France for approximately £25million each.
The result, as it always is with Mourinho: success.
Within nine months, Mourinho had delivered the League Cup with a 3-2 extra time victory over Liverpool. Three months later, Chelsea welcomed its first Premier League title since 1955.
The following two season saw continued success, as he delivered a second Premier League title in 2006, as well as the FA Cup and League Cup in 2007.
However, the 2006/07 season also saw growing unrest at Stamford Bridge, with rumours abound that Mourinho and Abramovich's relationship was starting to get strained.
The following season, after a less-than-desirable run of results, Mourinho left Chelsea by mutual consent.
Inter Milan
Mourinho was appointed Roberto Mancini's successor at Inter in June 2008, but contrary to his previous arrivals at new clubs, the Special One stated that he would not be bringing in many new faces.
Apart from changing much of the backroom staff, the only arrivals on the field came in the form of Brazilian winger Mancini, Ghanian midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari, and Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma.
Still, it seemed as though it was his ability and not the players that was constantly getting the job done.
Using the resources he had at his disposal, Mourinho guided Inter to the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia in his first season in Milan.
And just like his spell at Porto, his debut year was merely to serve as an appetiser for the next.
Inter achieved the footballing equivalent of world domination in the 2009/10 season, retaining both their Serie A and Coppa Italia crowns, before adding the Champions League to their trophy cabinet for good measure.
In a run which saw them eliminate the likes of Chelsea, CSKA Moscow and Barcelona, Inter met Bayern Munich in the final, where two goals from Diego Milito secured a their first Champions League title since their back-to-back successes in 1964 and 1965.
Real Madrid
Real had seen enough. Watching bitter rivals Barcelona completely dominate Spanish football for the last two season was too much for president Florentino Perez to take.
And as is the case with Real most of the time, when they want their man, they get their man.
Mourinho's appointment as head coach of Real is the 11th the club have made in the last seven years, and he immediately set about improving the team by bringing in 2010 World Cup stars Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira and Angel Di Maria, as well as his old mate Carvalho.
It is still early to run the rule on Mourinho's time at Real, he's only just about to complete one season.
Still, the trophies speak for themselves. And as he always does, Mourinho has once again brought his golden touch to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Mourinho took charge of his first Real game on August 29. The Copa del Rey final was on April 20.
Eight months. That's all the time it took the Special One to bring glory back to Real Madrid.

Manchester City,FA Cup: Roberto Mancini warns Man City heroes,FA Cup semi-final
Roberto Mancini warned his Manchester City players not to rest on their laurels after their win over Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final.
A second-half goal from Yaya Toure proved enough to secure City a place in their first FA Cup final in 30 years.
"We must not forget we play another game. Today we won only the semi-final," said the City manager.
City face either Stoke or Bolton who face each other in the second semi-final at Wembley on Sunday.
United twice came close to scoring through Dimitar Berbatov early in the match, but then struggled to create anything other than a Nani free-kick that was pushed on to the bar by goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Late in the game United were reduced to 10 men when veteran midfielder Paul Scholes was sent off for a rash tackle on Pablo Zabaleta, something United boss Sir Alex Ferguson described as one of Scholes's "red mist moments".
Despite having an extra player for the last 20 minutes, Mancini said that his side showed maturity to hold on for the win.
"It's difficult to play against United. They're used to playing this type of game every year. For us, it was the first time after a long time," said Mancini.
"Maybe we had some fear in the first 20-25 minutes. In the last 10, 15 minutes of the first half, we started to play high, we started to press.
"In the second half, we dominated the game. I am happy because we had fantastic spirit and we beat a team like United."
But City's post-match celebrations were marred by an unsavoury incident on the full-time whistle involving temperamental striker Mario Balotelli.
The Italian held out his shirt to celebrate in front of the United fans and Anderson and Rio Ferdinand responded by chasing after him to remonstrate.
Heated exchanges with both United players followed and Balotelli, who further incensed Ferdinand by winking at the England defender, was dragged away from the incident by City's coaching staff.
Mancini, who said he didn't see the incident because he was busy celebrating, said he wanted to wait before commenting further.
"I didn't see it. I want to wait because every time, 'It's Balotelli's fault'," said Mancini.
When the incident was described to him, Mancini joked: "We can put him in jail? Next week, we can put him in jail for this."

Manchester City ended Manchester United's chances
Wembley: Manchester City ended Manchester United's chances of three trophies in the same season when it beat its local rival 1-0 at Wembley to reach its first FA Cup final for 30 years.
While Chelsea kept alive its faint hopes of retaining the Premier League title with a 3-1 win at West Bromwich Albion, City midfielder Yaya Toure scored a 52nd-minute winner to leave United with the domestic championship and Champions League to aim for.
City, which is fourth in the Premier League and on course to qualify for next year's Champions League, plays either Stoke or Bolton in the May 14 final — when it aims to break a 35-year streak without a trophy.
"We've done nothing yet," City goalkeeper Joe Hart said. "We've got ourselves into a good position in the league and we've put ourselves in the final. Nothing's been won yet."
Toure scored after intercepting a poor clearance by United midfielder Michael Carrick and United ended with 10 men after Paul Scholes' 72nd-minute red card for a dangerous lunge on Pablo Zabaleta.
City had been overrun for most of the first half and Dimitar Berbatov should have put United ahead, but had one shot blocked by Hart and put another over the bar from close range in front of an unguarded net.
Backed by an investment of about $1 billion by owner Sheikh Mansour since 2008, City now has a shot at a first trophy since the 1976 League Cup. It reached the 1981 FA Cup final, but lost a replay to Tottenham.
"The boys are over the moon, the club are over the moon," Hart said.
United was without the suspended Wayne Rooney and left Javier Hernandez, who scored in Tuesday's Champions League victory over Chelsea, on the bench. Considering Berbatov's wayward finishing, the selection may have been an error.
