Spanish Football League TOP GOAL SCORER season| CRISTIANO RONALDO |EUROPEAN GOLDEN BOOT|HISTORICAL GOAL HOLDER

REAL MADRID forward CRISTIANO RONALDO has finished the 2010 - 2011 season with a staggering total of 40 official UEFA approved goals. This figure gives the player the following individual titles this season:
  • All Time & Historical Spanish Football Top Goal scorer in a season. Cristiano Ronaldo takes the title off Telmo Zarra (At Bilbao 1950-51) & Hugo Snachez (1989-90) with 38 goals.
  • Spanish Football League - LA LIGAseason 2010 - 2011 Top Goal scorer - "El Pichichi"
  • European Golden Shoe (Boot) winner as European Top Goal scorer for season 2010-2011. This is the second European Golden Boot for Cristiano Ronaldo

UEFA however only takes into account the referee post - match report, whom gave the "controversial" goal to team-mate Pepe after the latter deflected the ball for a  goal from a Ronaldo free-kick ( vs Real Sociedad 2010).
