Washington, Apr 16 : American golfer Kevin Na has said that he does not have any idea about how many shots he had taken as he shot a record 16 at the par-four 9th hole of the Valero Texas Open.
First Na, whose 16 was the highest par-four score since PGA Tour records began, flayed a drive deep into the woods. He returned to the tee and hit almost the exact same slice into thorny greenery area, The Telegraph reported.
This ball then hit a rock.
Watching his fourth hit a tree and ricochet off his trouser leg, he took a two-shot penalty and snapped at his caddie saying: “OK, just give me another ball.”
Speaking before the television, Na said: “How are we going to count all the shots? I have no idea. I can’t keep track,” the paper quoted Na, as saying.
“They have it on tape, so they can go back and count it,” the Korean-born American added. (ANI)
